You get paid only when your product or service gets to the end consumer. So the only rainmaker activities that produce profit are activities that get a new customer, or get a new team member who will use the products and bring in other team members or customers. Without self-disciple you create busy daily routines on meaningless avoidance behavior. And that makes you broke.
Randy Gage is talking about keeping the main thing the main thing.
What is the main thing?
Getting people to view the presentation, you know... the number one income producing activity.
Today, it is way too easy to get distracted by the next new shiny object but income producing activities are where the rubber hit the road.
Get them into your funnel...
Period. End of story!
This can easily be accomplished using third party tools like - web video, CDs or some type of company info pack.
Pick a tool and run with it.
If you just consistently focus on income producing activities, you'll be fine.
